Profile of Stephen Roe

After training in Cambridge as an illustrator, I spent several years freelancing before setting up my own advertising agency.

In my spare time I combined my passions for illustration and building with natural materials to create simple garden structures. Interest in my projects grew, so it seemed logical to form William Lloyd, designing bespoke garden escapes.

The company can produce anything from small unique reading rooms to extravagantly creative summer houses and follies.... even the occasional bench, kennel, and birdhouse.

Twenty years on and I'm working again with my most inspirational colleague Phil Game, We satisfy the most demanding, complex and even bizarre requests of our clients.
